Around the table

Before 2020, my life took place at home a lot for a couple of years. I worked there, made my art there and it was the heart of my family life.

Looking back on that period, that is where “Around the Table” was born, a non-intentional, ongoing series of artworks.

I am fascinated by the simple form of tables and other everyday pieces of furniture. They form the background for countless moments in our daily lives, while at the same time serving as a stage for all kinds of ordinary objects.
