February 13th-15th, the Broodfabriek, Rijswijk (NL)

A few years ago, I visited the Patchwork & Quilt Days in Rijswijk for the first time. At the time, I had agreed to meet Janet Bolton there. She presented her book ‘Bzzz In the woods’ and I helped her with the powerpoint at the lecture she gave there. I spent an enjoyable day, chatting with Janet and her visitors, looking at the exhibitions and browsing through the booths of fabrics and yarns.

I did not expect then that my own work would ever be shown at this event, so when I was invited to show my work at the Patchwork & Quilt Days in February 2025, I felt very honoured. Since most of my artworks are not very big, I am quite excited, to set up such a big display. To make sure it succeeds, I asked some of my collectors to contribute their pieces and fortunately most of them were happy to cooperate. I am curious to see the pieces I haven’t seen for a while. The result will be an exhibition with a variety of work from the past 10 years of my involvement in textile art.
